Although the east side of Dayton, Ohio might have been a sight for sore eyes in the late 90's, we had a vision for a better, brighter, more vibrant downtown.
Fast forward 25 years, and this once rustic, industrial side of town is now the epicenter for the revitalization of our city.
Since the first pitch was thrown on April 27, 2000, over 3 billion dollars in development has transformed the area immediately surrounding Day Air Ballpark into the beautiful Water Street District we enjoy today!

Dayton Dragons Baseball has become an engrained summertime tradition for fans all over the Dayton region. They bring their families, friends, and coworkers to the ballpark to cheer on a team that has gone from just a name and a jersey to becoming part of the very fabric of the region.
All you have to do to understand the love affair this region has with the Dragons is look at the team’s record streak of sold-out ballgames. No team in the history of North American professional sports has come close to selling out as many games as the Dragons have since their first game in 2000.
Accomplishing a record feat like that is due in large part to the Dragons impact not just in Dayton, but throughout the 13,000 square miles surrounding the city.

When we look around today, we see our friends and neighbors in the Dayton community facing higher prices, larger bills, and more expensive family outings.
At the Dragons we are proud to offer a high-quality, yet affordable product to our fans and partners.
This affordability isn't just seen our ticket prices and season ticket packages, but also in our concessions stands, Dragons Den Team Store, and more. We want the experience at the ballpark to be exciting for fans without having to worry about cost.
Upon entering the stadium, fans are immediately greeted by an inviting and wonderful barrage of sights, sounds, and smells. From our playful mascots and engaging videos to delicious concessions and exciting music, every fan is pulled into one of the best family entertainment experiences in the country. For the first time since 2019, the Dragons Green Team and mascots were able to take the field on a regular basis for in-game entertainment.
Dragons games are well known for the family fun that occurs between the innings. Our mascots, Heater and Gem, along with the entertainment staff provide a terrific, entertaining experience for all fans.
At the Dragons we know that having a great experience lies in the customer service provided.
From arriving at the garage to park your car, throughout the entire time inside the ballpark, until all fans walk out the gates we are dedicated to providing unsurpassed customer service.
We believe that our duty to engage, enrich, and improve the lives of our fans doesn't end in the 9th inning.
Throughout the entire year our organization is dedicated to being a cornerstone of the Dayton region. From our numerous philanthropic missions and partnerships, to our impact on thousands of local students and teachers, to community events that make our city a better place to work and play, we never take a play off.
One of our most fundamental priorities is to provide our valued corporate partners with a unique and impactful marketing opportunity that no other local business can offer.
We have the extraordinary ability to activate hundreds of thousands of loyal Dayton Dragons fans each year on behalf of our corporate partners.
And with a 95%+ partnership renewal rate, many of whom have been with us for 10-20+ years, our results speak for themselves.
New in 2023, the Dragons introduced two new season ticket clubs – the Dragons Family Club and Business Club.
Listening to feedback from fans, the Dragons saw that all fans were purchasing season tickets either for their personal use with their family or friends or they were purchasing for their business. The new clubs for season ticket holders were tailored to be a better fit for their family and business needs. To better accommodate the needs of the Dragons season ticket holders, the two new clubs provided exclusive access to events, a tailored gift, and more.
As a corporate partner, you were invited to three Dragons Business Club exclusive events at Day Air Ballpark.
At each of these events, your staff could mingle with other business leaders while enjoying a great time out at the ballpark!
Additionally, as a partner, you also received passes to some of the Dragons most well-known events including the Dragons 5K and Great American Beer Tasting.
Recognizing that true ownership to any sports team lies with the citizens in the community, the Dragons are proud to have initiated many programs that directly promote, highlight, and give back to those in our community.
From the very start, the Dragons made it a point to be more involved in our community than any other
sports team across the country. We knew that to succeed and to help this region grow, we would have to play an active role in the lives of our fans, and not just when they attended games.
The Dayton Dragons Foundation is central to our organization’s effort to be involved in the community. The Foundation provides necessary funding and resources to support the countless donations, charitable giving requests, in-kind donations, unique game experiences, and community-wide programs which the Dragons
support every year.
Every year, we strive to do more and make a larger impact through our position as Dayton’s hometown
team.
Home Run for Life treats special honorees that are overcoming significant medical events to a VIP experience at a Dragons game. During each Home Run for Life, Anthem hosts the honoree and his/her support team of family, friends, and medical staff in a luxury suite. Each honoree is recognized on the field during an inning break. The honoree, their family and support team are taken onto the field and the honoree gets to take a symbolic lap around the bases to a standing ovation from the crowd.
The Dragons 5K is one of the Miami Valley’s biggest races with 2,200 participants participating. The racecourse follows streets and paths around the ballpark in the heart of the Water Street and through Deeds MetroPark.
Dayton Children's was visited by Spiderman and Black Panther as part of the Dragons "Defenders of the Diamond" night, in partnership with Minor League Baseball, on Friday, August 4. Spiderman and Black Panther were able to sign autographs, take photos with the families, and brighten the spirits of the patients. Later, Spiderman and Black Panther visited with families at the Dragons game.
Recycling Bin Initiative is a free, educational program that guides participants on how to recycle right and incentivizes green habits with prizes. Prizes included a behind-the-scenes tour, first pitch, suite night, and more.
The Hometown Heroes program hosted military families at every Dragons game throughout the season to express appreciation to the brave men and women serving in our armed forces. The program also hosted four spotlight nights where we recognized military groups and individuals for their commitment to serve the military community.
The Dragons Veteran Salute program highlighted five veterans' stories during the season. Selected veterans were recognized at multiple Dragons games with an in-game video board moment and provided with VIP treatment when they attended the Dragons game. This season, the Dragons recognized Bernie Martin (Army), William Schultz (Air Force), Ray Snedegar (Air Force), Nick Freisthler (Marine Corps.), and Teresa Bruner (Navy).
During the 2023 season, the Dragons hosted Oath of Enlistments for the Air National Guard, Air Force, Army, and Navy. Each future service member was able to attend the Dragons game and celebrate afterwards with complimentary tickets for them and their families.
The Dayton Dragons Foundation raised $17,327.50 as part of a holiday 50/50 raffle for the Fisher/Nightingale Houses at Dayton VA Medical Center. Fisher/Nightingale Houses, Inc. build comfortable homes where military and veteran families can stay at no cost. The Fisher Houses give military personnel and veterans the chance to be together and support one another while a loved one is receiving medical care. They also provide them with physical and emotional assistance.
Dayton Dragons President, Robert Murphy, was named an Honorary Commander as part of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base’s Honorary Commanders program. The Honorary Commanders Program objective is to educate local leaders about a unit’s mission and foster a supportive relationship with the community. It also serves as a forum in which Wright-Patt commanders can solicit advice and support on matters affecting military and civilian communities. Each Honorary Commander is paired with a Wright-Patterson Air Force Base commander for a two-year term. All events and interactions are designed to encourage an exchange of ideas, experiences and friendship between the local and Wright-Patt military communities.
The Dragons are proud to host multiple Honor Guards across the course of the season. These Honor Guards have featured multiple high school and colleges JROTC and ROTC programs, police and fire departments, military organizations, and the 445th Aeromedical Staging Squadron from Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
The Dragons honored Dayton firefighters and police with special recognition nights. Members of the Dayton Fire Department and Dayton Police Department served as honor guard in presenting colors for the national anthem.
Preschool Promise hosted a kick-off for their 112 partner schools before the start of classes. The event featured three presentations, a complimentary ballpark buffet, inflatables, carnival games, and more.
Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library program partnered with the Dayton Dragons from August 1 through August 27, providing first game certificates, children’s books, and bookmarks that allow parents or guardians to directly sign their children up for the program. On Sunday, August 27, the Dragons hosted a sign-up booth, first pitch, graduation ceremony, and more to bring awareness to the program.
Spotlight on Dayton showcased performance groups in the Dayton area – providing them a stage in front of a sold-out crowd including:
The area surrounding Day Air Ballpark has come a long way since the stadium ground breaking.
Of course, it all started with the $23 million stadium project, but so much has changed since our first Opening Day in April 2000. The eastern portion of Downtown Dayton, anchored by Day Air Ballpark, is now home to a host of residential, shopping, dining, recreational, nightlife, and office options. There have been over $3 billion of projects since baseball began.
The Dragons have a tremendous economic impact in the Dayton Region annually. In addition to bringing well over a half million fans downtown for games during the summer, the Dragons employ 35 full time staffers and more than 300 seasonal employees. We also rely on many local vendors to help us provide an amazing Dragons game experience. The Dragons worked with the Wright State University Applied Policy Research Institute to determine the economic impact; they documented a $27.5 million annual effect/impact to the region.

These Sports Management Assistants receive experience in corporate partnerships, marketing, ticket sales, ticket operations, stadium operations, and game-day operations, making them well-rounded and prepared for future, full-time positions.
With multiple position options, the Dragons game-day staff is a great, seasonal position for those looking for part-time work. With a variety of ages, the Dragons game-day positions feature teachers, retirees, and students.
For those in the midst of their career, the Dragons also work tirelessly to train and continually grow their front office staff.

The 2023 season will be remembered for the many former Dayton Dragons who reached the Major Leagues with the Reds and made key contributions, including rookies Elly De La Cruz, Matt McLain, and Andrew Abbott, as well as veteran former Dragons like Joey Votto, Jonathan India, Tyler Stephenson, TJ Friedl, Graham Ashcraft, and Hunter Greene, who all also excelled with the Reds this season. Meanwhile, the 2023 Dragons team featured several top-level Reds prospects that will very likely eventually make their own presence felt in the big leagues.
The list of prospects on the 2023 Dragons roster was headlined by Edwin Arroyo, a shortstop who finished the season ranked as the Reds #2 prospect by MLB.com. Arroyo was the youngest position player in the Midwest League for most of the season. Dragons starting pitcher Chase Petty was ranked as the Reds #6 prospect by MLB.com. Other Dragons players ranked among the Reds top-30 prospects by MLB.com includes outfielder Jay Allen II (#9 prospect), outfielder Austin Hendrick (#18 prospect), second baseman Tyler Callihan (#27 prospect), and starting pitcher Julian Aguiar (#28 prospect).
Every Dayton team over the 23 seasons of Dragons baseball has included multiple future major league players, starting with the very first team in 2000 that included Adam Dunn and Austin Kearns. Over the years, 12 prospects came through Dayton before later being selected to play in the Major League All-Star Game, including familiar names like Jay Bruce, Todd Frazier, Johnny Cueto, Zack Cozart, and Jesse Winker, as well as the newest addition to the list of Dragons in the MLB All-Star Game, 2019 Dragon Alexis Diaz, who represented the Reds in the 2023 All-Star Game in Seattle.

Construction was underway on a minor league ballpark in a run-down area on the east side of downtown Dayton.
Support for baseball was 50/50 at best. For every person thrilled about professional baseball returning to Dayton, another person thought it would never work, let alone last.
But through all of that, the Dragons shared a vision of what we were determined to bring to the Dayton region.
We talked to everyone who would listen. Each time, we painted a picture of beautiful summer nights spent in a world-class ballpark with family, friends, coworkers and neighbors. We told them there would be side-splitting entertainment, great food and affordable tickets. It would be a family’s dream.
It turns out, so many people were inspired by that vision that it’s now become reality. The Dragons have made history, setting a North American professional sports record with more than 1,300 sold-out games. The Dragons ballpark experience has regularly been featured on a national stage as one of the best in the country. Going to a Dragons baseball game is, hands down, THE thing to do in Dayton every summer.
An exciting new vision is being created and coming to life around the ballpark. What was once a rundown area of town is now a bustling multi-purpose district. There are scores of residential units, restaurants, breweries, office space, parks and amenities coming online around the ballpark. What was once only a destination when the Dragons were playing, is now THE place where Dayton comes together to live, work and play.
Day Air Ballpark and Dragons baseball sits right at the middle of it all.
You already know the Dragons are popular with fans throughout the entire Dayton region.
But what is it that makes a Dragons corporate partnership such a good investment?
After all, some of the biggest brands across the Dayton region and even across the globe chose to partner with the Dragons. Not just for a season or two, either. Most of our corporate partners have been with us 15 years or more.
So, what is it about the Dragons that draws the cream of the crop of the business community to work with us? What’s the “secret sauce” that makes it all work?
It all comes down to three key building blocks that are the foundation of our partners.
One of the most popular questions we get is, “What did you do to sell that many games out in a row?”
The answer is never a short one, as there are many elements that have led to the kind of success the Dragons organization has earned over the past 19 seasons. In fact, we could probably fill the rest of this book with stories and case studies that all lent a hand to create the Dragons unprecedented success.
But everything comes back to this big vision that Dragons baseball would never be “minor league”. From a beautiful stadium to our sports entertainment experience to unsurpassed customer service and community involvement, our vision was to always have a first class, professional approach to everything we did.
We know that it takes more than that though. We knew from the start that in order to get the kind of success we wanted to enjoy, we had to stir the emotions and souls of an entire region. Like the famous saying goes, “Make no small plans, for they have no power to stir the soul.”
Most sports sponsorships are simply an ad in a game day program, or a sign on an outfield wall. For the team, they’re a source of additional revenue and for the sponsor, a way to show that they’re “supporting” the local team. The problem with that approach is that no one wins.
The sponsor doesn’t get any real value for their investment, and certainly has no way of measuring their return on it.
The team is likely searching for new sponsors every year since most companies aren’t going to spend marketing dollars over and over again without being able to show some sort of return on that investment.
The Dragons approach our corporate sponsorships differently. We understand that as a sports team, we have this unique ability to bring the entire region together for a shared experience. That ability is a tremendously valuable tool. It provides our corporate partners with a place to come together with their customers, employees, vendors and more, When we all come together at the ballpark, partners and our fans interact in a meaningful way.
But we know that no two partners are exactly alike. Each one brings its own style, needs and goals to the partnership. That’s where our expert corporate partnerships team comes into play.
First, we sit and learn from each of our partners about what they need to accomplish. Then, we create a customized plan for them, using the marketing horsepower of the Dragons to accomplish (and measure) their goals.
After all, having all of that marketing horsepower doesn’t mean anything unless we focus it on your key goals and objectives. That’s when it becomes an amazingly powerful tool for your organization.
Let’s take a look at what we mean...

2022 featured large crowds and even greater support for our community.
CELEBRATE DAYTON
Dayton is the home of incredible people who achieve amazing things each and every day. Our Celebrate Dayton program helps us recognize achievements of local groups on the field to highlight their hard work.
CULTURE WORKS WEEKEND
Culture Works is the local arts council and united arts fund for the Dayton Region. The organization supports local art by funding artists and arts organizations through promoting local performances and experiences; and by providing resources to local students and educators. Ticket sales for shows and exhibits rarely cover the full cost of an arts experience. The Dragons raised awareness and funds for Culture Works during three Dragons games through ticket sales and the Dragons 50/50 program.
PINK RIBBON GIRLS
The Pink Ribbon Girls provide transportation to and from treatment, house cleaning kits, and peer support and education to breast and gynecological cancer patients at their greatest time of need. During a Dragons game, the Pink Ribbon Girls were able to promote awareness and to celebrate the breast cancer and gynecological cancer survivors they have helped. Proceeds from Dragons ticket fundraisers and the Dragons 50/50 for the entire week went to the services and programs of the Pink Ribbon Girls.
IMAGINATION LIBRARY
From July 22 through August 14, the Dragons had first game certificates, children’s books, as well as bookmarks that allow parents or guardians to directly sign their children up for the Imagination Library program. On Sunday, August 14, the Dragons hosted Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Ohio Day with a sign-up booth, first pitch, graduation ceremony and more to bring awareness to the program.
MARVEL'S CAPTAIN AMERICA VISITS HOSPITAL
On July 9, the Dragons, in partnership with MARVEL and Major League Baseball, organized for Captain America to visit with children at Dayton Children's. Captain America and the Dragons were able to sign autographs, take photos with the families, and brighten the spirits of the patients. Later, he visited with families at the Dragons game.
SPOTLIGHT ON DAYTON
Another program we have each season, is Spotlight on Dayton. It provides us the opportunity to give our local acts to perform in front of the home crowd, as we turn the spotlight to the talented people that live in the Miami Valley.
The Foundation provides necessary funding and resources to support the countless donations, charitable giving requests, in-kind donations, unique game experiences, and community-wide programs which the Dragon
support every year.
Every year, we strive to do more and make a larger impact through our position as Dayton’s hometown
team. In 2022, we were able to provide monetary gifts totaling more than $35,000 to local non-profit and charity organizations.
The Dragons 50/50 program is now in its seventh year and has raised more than $510,000 for various charities at Dragons games. Fans could purchase tickets from sellers at the ballpark, or online at daytondragons.com throughout the season. Winners of the 50/50 program received half of the total pot and the other half was donated to The Dayton Dragons Foundation which supported various charitable organizations and community programming in the Miami Valley.
Each year, the Dragons ticket fundraising program works with countless organizations to help them fundraise for their cause with the sale of Dragons tickets. Groups can sell tickets to a specific Dragons game and earn 50% of the proceeds from their ticket sales. In 2022, this program sold over 16,200 tickets, raising $122,000.
The concessions fundraiser program benefitted various organizations throughout the Miami Valley. Over $6 million has been raised for groups who participated in this program including over $135,000 this year.
Dayton Magazine's Dayton Business Hall of Fame
In July 2022, Robert Murphy was named as the most recent addition to the Dayton Business Hall of Fame. The continued growth in the Dayton area has led to the development of a successful business community that has made its mark on the Dayton region. The Dayton Business Hall of Fame recognizes the accomplishments and contributions of outstanding leaders within the Dayton region who have made a positive impact on the community through economic, cultural, and civic endeavors.
Dayton Business Journal's "Business of the Year"
In October 2022, the Dragons were named an honoree for "Customer Service Business of the Year" as part of the Dayton Business Journal's "Business of the Year" awards.
Dayton Daily News' "Best of Dayton"
In October 2022, the Dragons were ranked #1 in "Dayton's Favorite Sporting Event" - a fan vote competition hosted by the Dayton Daily News. The Dragons also placed in the top 3 of "Best Family Fun Destinations".
The 2022 Dragons team featured more top-level Reds prospects than any other club in Dragons history. Every Dayton team over the 22 seasons of Dragons baseball has included multiple future major league players, starting with the very first team in 2000 that included Adam Dunn and Austin Kearns. Over the years, prospects like Joey Votto, Jay Bruce, Todd Frazier, Tyler Stephenson, and Hunter Greene have come through Dayton on their climb up the ladder. The 2022 Dragons team was filled with players projected as future Major Leaguers.
The 2022 Dragons included the 20th first round draft pick in franchise history, outfielder Austin Hendrick, who was the Reds #1 pick in 2020; infielder Elly De La Cruz, regarded as the Reds top prospect in the minor leagues during the 2022 season and was named the “Reds Minor League Player of the Year” by Baseball America; power-hitting outfielder Rece Hinds, a second round draft pick in 2019; starting pitchers Connor Phillips, Andrew Abbott, Bryce Bonnin, Christian Roa, and Joe Boyle, who was named the "2022 Reds Minor League Baseball Pitcher of the Year", all highly-regarded prospects who were listed among the top-20 in the Reds system; catcher Mat Nelson, the national home run champ for all of college baseball in 2021 at Florida State; infielder Jose Torres and outfielder Allan Cerda, two more blue-chip prospects that many scouts listed among the Reds top 10.
At one point in 2022, there were 11 players on the Dragons roster that were ranked among the top 27 prospects in the Reds organization by MLB.com, a number that would be difficult to match for any team in Minor League Baseball. It was a special year for the Dayton Dragons.
Derek Law became the 42nd major league player to rehab with the Dragons when he pitched for the Dragons on June 25, 2023.

Dayton Dragons Baseball has become an engrained summertime tradition and has
woven itself into the fabric of our Dayton community.
All-time professional records for attendance. The Dayton Dragons sold every ticket to every game in 2000 before the first pitch was even thrown. The Dragons then followed that with sellout seasons ever since, establishing an all-time record for
sellouts in the process.
The Dragons have had more than 12 million fans come through Day Air Ballpark. Dayton has been the top Single “A” organization every year and has been among the Top 10 in attendance overall, even compared with larger markets.
A large and loyal fan base. Because we have focused so much on season ticket mini-plans and group outings, we have a great rotation of fans at each game.
At each game, there are about 75% of the seats (4,500) reserved for season ticket plans. Another 1,500+ seats every night are sold to group outings (Little Leagues, scouts, churches, sports organizations, associations, companies, etc.) Due to this rotation of the various ticket holders at the Dragons, we would estimate that we have 300,000 to 400,000 unique visitors each summer potentially better than most NFL teams.
"There is a reason Dayton has sold out every game since The Dragons debuted in 2000. The premier facility in the league has been filled with baseball fans because of the festive setting created by the Dragons and the unique ballpark they play in. Attending a ballgame in Dayton is a fan-friendly event. The ballpark, which is cut into a downtown city block, has a view of the urban skyline and is one of the few Class A facilities with a second deck—not to mention a row of 27 luxury suites, club-level seating and four party decks. A smoke-snorting dragon erupts from beyond the outfield fence every time the home club hits a home run and a variety of mascots entertain kids. ‘Dayton’s staff takes the fan experience to another level.'"

These signs have features that no other sign in any ballpark can give you.
Movement. LED technology allows us to actually animate your sign. Instead of a static billboard
which can quickly blend into the background, your message animates throughout the entire stadium.
That motion not only allows you to better tell your story, but it creates a sign so cool that our fans
actually tap the person next to them to say, “Hey, look at that sign out there!” That’s an advertiser’s
dream and you’ll have it all summer long.
Flexibility. You’re not limited to the same sign for the entire season. In fact, you can display several
different video messages throughout the season. You can feature different products or just different
perspectives. If you wish, you can change those messages several times during the season.
Exclusivity. Don’t worry about your competitor buying a fence sign to neutralize your identity. It won’t happen. As a Dragons corporate partner, you have signage category exclusivity.

In addition to hosting more consecutive sellouts than any ballpark in sports history, Day Air Ballpark has been widely recognized as being one of the best stadiums in the country.
We will weave your brand right into the identity of Day Air Ballpark. DESCRIPTION TEXT HERE.
At Day Air Ballpark, we have 18 video screens located throughout our concourse, that make up our In-Stadium Video Network.
These screens are:
Crystal clear, bright HD screens
Located all along the main concourse above our most popular concession stands
Rotating every 20 seconds to draw attention while still giving fans time to digest the messaging
Working in unison, to provide true dominance throughout the concourse level
Easily updated throughout the season to match your current advertising or messaging.
At Day Air Ballpark, we have 18 video screens located throughout our concourse. Like the billboards you would see in other ballparks, everyone can see them. However, these screens are dramatically different than those other ballparks.
First, they are located in the most heavily populated areas of our ballpark - above the concession stands, where standing fans naturally have a few minutes to kill.
Second, there are two sponsor screens that frame a live feed of the game action and entertainment in the stadium. Fans always want to keep up with the game when they’re out of their seats, so they can’t help but look at these displays.
Finally, your message can change, even within the game. Because these signs are digital, it’s incredibly easy to switch up your message as the season goes along, or even feature multiple different messages during the same game. That flexibility makes the Dragons in-stadium video network a great way to reach our fans.
In addition to hosting more consecutive sellouts than any ballpark in sports history, Day Air Ballpark has been widely recognized as being one of the best stadiums in the country.

While we typically avoid static signage in our ballpark, we have reserved a few key opportunities for a small group of partners. One of those limited opportunities is a Dayton Dragons Heritage Sign.
Heritage Signs are:
The concourse around Day Air Ballpark is filled with great food, lots of friends and families, and many curious eyes. As our fans walk the concourse, they can’t help but notice our heritage signs. These signs frame the story of what has made the Dragons so wildly popular.
The main entrance.
Whether it’s a sports stadium, an amusement park, or a vacation destination, there’s just something that makes us stop and soak in the grand entrance.
As a founding partner, you would have a permanent feature of the Day Air Ballpark grand entrance and all of the great photographs and memories that come with it.
One of the most unique and highly treasured fan amenities at Day Air Ballpark is our souvenir PlayBall! program!
Our program is a hit with fans because it is:
As a sponsor, your message is impactful because:
Over 450,000 fans watch the team at Day Air Ballpark each summer. They can't make it to every game though which, is where our broadcasts fill in the gaps.
But not even our biggest fans can make every home game, plus venture on the road to watch the Dragons when they’re out of town.
That’s why we broadcast all 132 Dragons home and road games each season. Whenever fans can’t watch the action live, they tune in and hear all of the great play-by-play action.
As a Dragons corporate sponsor, they’ll also get to hear about your business.
No team in their right mind would give fans a chance to catch the action without having to buy a ticket, right? Wrong.
Since every one of our Dragons home games is sold out, we don’t mind televising some of our home games. In fact, we love it. Televising our
games gives even more fans a chance to follow their favorite hometown team without a ticket. Plus, they get to hear about your business too.
In addition to the live telecasts, Dayton’s CW and their sister station WDTN heavily promote the
partnership and live broadcasts on their channels.
All games are promoted in the following ways on WDTN and Dayton’s CW:

Our fans are constantly checking our website to view our compelling stories, upcoming games and community events, or manage their tickets.
On our "Sponsor" page, your company will have a clickable logo directing fans to the custom landing page of your choice.

AN IMPORTANT CLIENT TOOL.

You can reward employees for increasing revenue, punctuality, reducing costs, contributing to the community, or anything else. You can also help build your customer relationships and reward clients for their business. With this promotion, the choice is up to you.
A key element of your partnership with the Dragons was the Employee of the Game experience.
You had 82 opportunities to send us an employee who helped your company.
The Kettering Health Stars program enabled managers, supervisors, co-workers, and even patients to inform Human Resources about employees who went above and beyond the call of their regular duties. These VIP guests received the experience of a lifetime, thanks to you. After arriving and parking in a private parking space, each guest was greeted at our VIP entrance by a member of our staff. This entrance was easy to spot with the special VIP tent and bright red carpet that let everyone know they were a VIP. They were given a bag of Dragons souvenirs and taken on a behind-the-scenes tour.
Every tour included a group photograph on the field. We took those photos, framed them to look like our PlayBall! game program, and emailed them to your VIP that night.
Each guest was given food vouchers to grab a meal at the park as they enjoyed that night’s game from some of the best seats in the house.

For the tenth year, the Dragons recognized Community All-Stars throughout the season. These citizens and organizations in the Miami Valley were recognized for their outstanding community service.
The Dragons Community All-Stars Program honors individuals who have gone above and beyond to improve the quality of life in the Miami Valley. They could be firefighters or police officers, doctors, or good Samaritans. It could be a first responder or a volunteer.
The Dragons selected five incredible stories out of all of the nominations received to honor at a Dragons game. All-Stars received recognition in:
The Dragons Community All-Stars Program was made possible with the support of Flying Ace Express Car Wash.
The Community All-Stars honorees were honored with an official press release, a full-page feature in PlayBall!, Dragons App, Dayton Daily News feature, and Dragons social media channels before their special night.
They were also covered by local media outlets.
Heidelberg Distributing hosted the 14th annual Great American Beer Tasting at Day Air Ballpark on Saturday, August 20.
This year featured over 100 products to sample and over 100 tickets sold.
Each beer tasting ticket included:
Designated drivers were not left out of the fun as their tickets were only $10 and included sampling of non-alcoholic Heidelberg Distributing products.
Tickets were available for purchase at the Dragons
box office, Dragons Den team store, by calling the
Dragons office, or online at the Dragons Den team
store website.
When people were not enjoying their samples, they
could head down to the field for carnival games,
soccer darts, corn hole, and a photobooth. Each game offered a variety of Budweiser and Dragons prizes. Attendees could also enter in a raffle to win prizes provided by Heidelberg Distributing and the Dragons.

Kettering Health is featured on a bronze, decorative plaque adorned near the main entrance of Day Air Ballpark.
The Dragons 2,050 sq. feet, high definition video board is a huge part of the Dragons game experience. The board features a dynamic layout which allows for full screen replays and video. The dynamic layout also provides you with the ability as a corporate partner to share your message in full HD to hundreds of thousands of fans all summer long.
Not only does your messaging dominate our videoboard but, you also have 360 degrees of LED signage surrounding the playing field. At every Dragons game, you were highlighted throughout the entire stadium with animated messages on our LED boards.
In addition, your home plate sign was seen on all Dragons television broadcasts on Dayton’s CW.
The Dragons staff created these animations for you at no additional charge.

In addition to hosting more consecutive sellouts than any ballpark in sports history, Day Air Ballpark has been widely recognized as being one of the best stadiums in the country.
We wove the Kettering Health brand right into the identity of Day Air Ballpark. Kettering Health was proudly displayed on the home team dugout top located on the third base side, as well as on the First Aid directional signage and the First Aid room window.
As a corporate partner, you had digital signage rotations on our in-stadium video network, visible to fans all along the concourse of Day Air Ballpark.
This network consists of nine clusters of video screens located directly above each one of our concourse concession stands. Each cluster consists of a 75-inch monitor for fans to watch the high definition in-house feed of the game action. Flanking that monitor are two, 43-inch high definition screens which rotate our
engaging corporate partner messages.
The Dragons game program, PlayBall!, has grown to become the most popular souvenir at a Dragons game.
It’s updated with new stories, photos, and information all season long, so it’s always fresh at each game. Plus, it’s noticeably light on advertising. That’s because, as a corporate partner, we want your ads to stand out.
As a corporate partner, you had an ad featured in every issue of PlayBall!.
On three dates, you were the title sponsor of PlayBall!, dominating the program with logo placement on the outside front cover, a full-page ad on the inside cover, and a full-page ad on the outside back cover.
In 2023, the radio home of the Dragons was FOX Sports 980 WONE. In addition to that great station, all games were simulcast around the world at daytondragons.com and on the Dragons Mobile App.
You were featured in one, 30-second commercial during all 132 Dragons radio broadcasts this season. You were also featured in the opening and closing billboards during each broadcast.
Fans were able to watch 25 live Dragons telecasts on Dayton's CW from the comfort of their living room. Because Dayton's CW is an over-the-air local channel, Dragons baseball was accessible to anyone with a TV either over-the-air or through any cable or satellite provider. Nearly 500,000 households were able to watch the Dragons on Saturdays and Sundays during the season.
The broadcasts were exciting. In addition to a major league graphics package, they featured play-by-play announcer Tom Nichols along with WDTN sports anchor, Jack Pohl, and Mike Vanderwoude, former voice of the Dayton Dragons.
As a corporate partner, you were featured in six,
30-second commercials during Dragons telecasts.
AES Ohio was the presenting title sponsor of all 25 televised Dragons games.
During your presenting title sponsorship game, AES Ohio dominated the entire game broadcast in the following ways:
During four Dragons games, sponsor name here representatives had the opportunity to talk on-air about company news, community outreach
programs, and upcoming promotions.
In an effort to enhance the viewer experience, the Dragons tech crew added to the broadcast related on-screen graphics, b-roll footage, and website screengrabs.
Name was on the Dragons radio/TV broadcasts on the following dates:
On date here, you took advantage of your day at the park by holding your Employee Appreciation Day at Day Air Ballpark for all employees and their families.
Attendees were able to enjoy a number of activities, including:

The Dragons helped organize a business to business event for Modern Office Methods. This included managing all the logistics and set-up of your event, securing a speaker, and handling food and beverage orders. At each event, guests enjoyed a free meal and a speech by a keynote speaker. Invitations were hand-delivered by Dragons mascots Heater and Gem.
On June 28, you and your guests were invited to a luncheon at Day Air Ballpark featuring celebrity guest speaker Dave Lapham. Each guest had the opportunity to get their photo taken with Mr. Lapham. The photos were printed, autographed, and returned to all guests as a thank you for attending the event.

You used the Boost Engagement Suite Level for a meeting on date.
In the event of injury on the field, it’s important to the Dragons to provide players and fans with the best medical attention possible. Kettering Health staff provides excellent care at our First Aid Booth during all home games.
In addition, the team receives medical support from team doctors and from medical liaison, Tyler Steele. During the 2022 season, 16 players and one employee went to Kettering Health Network for MRI’s, X-rays, and various other procedures and office visits.
The Dayton Dragons partnered with Boost Engagement to develop a special program that would recognize individuals who embody the value of their company, while driving the culture and mission of their organization. Boost Engagement specializes in employee recognition and created the Boost Engagement Leadership Award to celebrate these employees.
The Dragons and Boost Engagement reached out to Dayton Daily News to help recognize one of your amazing employees.
Sales Manager, Amy Kirby, was selected as the Boost Engagement Leadership Award winner this season. For winning the award, she was awarded the following:

When we look around today, we see our friends and neighbors in the Dayton community facing higher prices, larger bills, inflation, and more expensive family outings.
Believe me, the Dragons are also seeing our operating costs going up. The Dragons saw hundreds of thousands of fans come through the gates at Day Air Ballpark this season.
With so many fans coming out to enjoy a game, the Dragons were the most attended team in the Midwest League, as well as being in the top 15 of all teams in Minor League Baseball.
Along with being top in attendance, the Dragons all-time consecutive sell-out streak grew to an amazing 1,441 games.
The way our fans responded during and after the pandemic are moments in our past that we should never forget. After reflecting on all the support that our season ticket holders have given us over these past several years, we have decided that we will not pass on our increase in expenses to our season ticket holders.
Not only are we not going to increase the price of season tickets, but we are also adding even more value to season ticket purchase. We are going to give our season ticket holders a Dayton Dragons gift card to use at games for food, drinks, or the Dragons Den Team Store.

For corporate users,

For family users,

Worth 10% of the overall season ticket purchase.

Other delivery specifications: If you are unable to provide a file matching the exact specifications above (or are unsure), our staff will gladly convert your spot. Please allow an extra two days when utilizing this free service.
When providing files to be converted:

In 2023, the Dragons had a renewed focus on keeping the historic sellout streak alive. Due to a multitude of factors, the sellout streak's continuation was threatened for the first time in the team's 23 year history.
Using every resource in our arsenal, the Dragons reached out to the Miami Valley's business leaders, community organizations, and loyal fans. The response received was tremendous and launched the Dragons sellout streak forward to 1,507 games.
